Michelle Bachmann, the Minnesota house rep who famously incurred the wrath of thousands of Americans for resurrecting the ghost of Eugene McCarthy when she called on the media to investigate members of Congress to see if they're “pro-America or anti-America,” managed to squeak through yesterday's election.
Soon after her verbal joust with MSNBC's Chris Matthews, where she uttered her immortal words, Bachmann's opponent managed to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars and looked to be heading for a win. But last night, she garnered 47 percent of the vote to her opponent's 44 percent.
